download SUPPORTINFO.EXE (70Kb)

This is a program for displaying support-related information about Pulsonix. It uses some of the Pulsonix modules to gather information, so it should be saved to your Pulsonix program folder and run from there.

download HASPID V2.4 (343Kb)

A program for displaying information about the HASP USB security key. To use this as a standalone program (prior to installing Pulsonix or the Network License Server), simply unpack the Zip file into a folder and run the HASPID.exe program from there (you may also require the VS2017 runtime from the Runtime Files tab). If you already have Pulsonix software installed (version 9.5 or later) you only need to place the EXE file into the folder where the Pulsonix software lives, as the associated DLL files will already be present.

download GETMACS.EXE V1.02 (54Kb)

A program for displaying the "MAC" addresses of all the network devices it can find on your system. This is a standalone program and does not require a Pulsonix installation, and should run on any supported version of Windows that has networking installed. It will report the information we require to generate you a license.

Download it to your downloads folder. Locate it using Windows Explorer and double-click on it.

When you run the program, you will see it flash on the screen for a moment, then the results will be available on the Windows clipboard for you to paste into a file or email message. In your email to us, press Ctrl-V to paste the clipboard.

If you wish, you can run the program from a command prompt as it outputs its findings to the console. Launch a command prompt using the Windows 'flag' key and R together, then type CMD in the entry box and <Enter>.

From the command window, type the following:

	cd c:\users\your_name\downloads <Enter>
	GETMACS > temp.txt <Enter>

The following will be reported for your server machine:

download Visual Studio 2017 (64-bit) (14.9Mb)

Installation program for the C++ runtime files from Microsoft Visual Studio 2017. This is sometimes needed to repair or replace the runtime files, for example if uninstalling another application has mistakenly removed these files or replaced them with the wrong version. This may for example be required if you encounter a message "unable to load License.dll" during Setup when trying to install one of our applications. These 64-bit VS2017 runtime files are used by Pulsonix Version 12.0 onwards.

download Visual Studio 2017 (32-bit) (14.8Mb)

USB Security Key Installation

download HASPUSERSETUP.EXE (23.3Mb)

HASP/LDK GUI install for USB security key drivers (Version 8.43, 6 June 2022). Use this one for a normal HASP key installation.

download HASPDINST.EXE (24.2Mb)

HASP/LDK command-line install for USB security key drivers (Version 8.43, 6 June 2022).

download DIAGNOSTIX.EXE (1.7Mb)

A diagnostic program for USB security keys (Version 1.10, 23-Jul-04).

USB Security Key Drivers

If you still experience problems with USB security keys after installing the latest drivers from here, it is probably worth checking the vendor web site for more recent downloads. Look for the Sentinel LDK drivers/runtimes, these are backwards-compatible with the USB security keys we use.

Further trouble-shooting

If you find that our application still reports that the HASP driver is not installed or cannot be accessed, you may need to fully remove the current driver files and install them from fresh. You can do this as follows:

  1. Open a Windows file explorer and browse to your Pulsonix program folder, or the folder where you have placed a freshly downloaded copy of the command-line HASPDINST.EXE installer.
  2. In the address bar of Explorer, replace the current contents with the single word "cmd" without the quotes and press Enter. This should open a command prompt window, set to the required folder.
  3. Remove the USB key from your computer.
  4. Now type the following three commands in turn and press Enter after each one:
          haspdinst -r -fr
          haspdinst -purge
          haspdinst -i -ld
  5. Reboot your computer and re-insert the USB key, you should now find that it works as expected.
