Can anyone explain me the meaining of the 2 options?
- Mirrored SMD Component (On Bottom Side)
- Mirrored Through Hole Component (On bottom side)

in Design Settings -> Default -> Component
I can't find evidence in the Help

The purpose of Defaults and so those switches, are to give a default action for additions to the design, therefore in this case it applies to components added to the PCB design via Translate, Synchronise or directly and not those already in the design.

For those components being moved from the Component Bin that need to go to the Bottom side, use Mirror when positioning them.

Hi Steve,
I tried in a design where I have all components to place in component bin but it seems it doesn't have effect , in fact when I place component they are placed on the top side. Can you give me assistance?

These two switches allow components to be added directly to the Bottom side of the design on insertion
