Switches
Pulsonix has the following command-line switches that you may wish to use in particular situations:-
  • A - just show the 'About' dialog with version and build information.

  • N - start Pulsonix without opening any previously-open files. You may need to use this if there is a problem with one of the files you were previously working on and the program will otherwise not start properly.

  • R - remove stored settings from the system registry. Use this with care, as it will remove the stored Pulsonix settings from the HKEY_CURRENT_USER section of the registry. The program will still run without them, but will no longer have any settings such as paths to library folders and there is no way of 'undoing' this change.

  • VIEWER - start Pulsonix in trial/viewer mode regardless of current license settings.

Using the switches
These switches need to be used from a command-line prompt, so you will need to open a command prompt window (from your Windows Start menu), and navigate your way to the Pulsonix program folder. Then type PULSONIX followed by the required switch(es), with each switch (in upper or lower case) preceded by / or - as shown in this example:-
pulsonix -n
