I am interested in learning more about how the synchonisation works, regarding driving it from the schematic via Tools > Synchronise Designs. Specifically, I have a design where many components are placed where I want them on the PCB, but when I synchronise, the tool "wants" to delete the components and then add them back in again, which would force me to place them anew. However, not all of them are treated this way, some components are left alone.
Question is: what criteria does the synchroniser use the determine if a component should be left alone, modified, or deleted?
