We've had at least one report that uploading files to attach to a post is not working. I've tried it, and it seems okay to me, as you can see from this file I have just posted (using the 'Upload a file' link when writing this topic):

Download Attachment: Testing.txt
430 Bytes

If anyone else has tried this feature, it would be useful to know how you got on.

That looks like a different bug, where it is not trapping out the fact that the chosen topic has been deleted from the database. We've added a code fix for that one too.

Another error message happens while opening http://pulsonix.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=24 :
Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e10'

No value given for one or more required parameters.

Seems to work now. Except that attachment URL is not relative.

Sorry, finger trouble, obviously need stronger caffeine kick to get me going.

Code now corrected so it should run without the error.

The board we use is similar to those others, and its one we've been using elsewhere for a while now. We had to alter some of the file upload Mod to make it fit with how our server is organised, and this is where the problems arose. Hopefully all sorted now.

Doesn't work, but error message is different:
Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a0401'

Expected end of statement

/forum/outputFile.asp, line 81

memberPath = memberPath & "\" & datestr)
---------------------------------------^

P.S. Any reason to not use workhorses like phpBB (free) or Invison Board?

Okay, we've made a small adjustment to the code, if you would like to try again we can see whether the issue is now resolved.

I'm seeing precisely the same (modulo date) message.

I got an error in the pop-up window that handles uploading the file.

when i hit "upload file" after selecting one via file browser, it told me:

C:\Inetpub\vhosts\pulsonix.com\httpdocs\forum\uploaded\bkamen\2013.10.07

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a004c'

Path not found

/forum/outputFile.asp, line 80
