Pulsonix V5.0 release features unique construction line functionality
Pulsonix Announces Pulsonix 5.0
Tewkesbury, UK - June 1 2008 - Users of Westdev’s Pulsonix EDA software benefit from the inclusion of a powerful construction line tool in the latest Version 5.0 release. This feature offers the sophistication of mechanical CAD functionality to Pulsonix users that is not currently available in any other comparable PCB software.
Developed in response to user demands, Marketing Director Bob Williams says ‘the construction line feature is truly unique to Pulsonix. It enables users the convenience of working in a single program to draw complex shapes and construction lines to reduce the overall development time of their products. The construction line tool enables straight, angled, circle and arc lines plus a number of additional features to bisect, divide, and tangent lines to existing construction lines or design items’.
Major New Features Overview
As well as the construction line feature, Version 5.0 also includes key features such as Attached Dimensions, FGPA support, an Active PDF writer, powerful Net Testability Checking and Testpoint Analysis, Design Revision Analysis and support for Slotted Pads.
Introduced in 2001, Pulsonix EDA software sets the standard for high-performance Schematic Design Capture, Simulation, PCB layout and autorouting. Developed once again by a dedicated in-house team, this demonstrates how the fast-growing Pulsonix product is introducing key features to win new business and offer users flexible and highly compatible software that meets the demands of PCB design today.
