This page details the procedure required to obtain your NLS license and to use it once it has been issued to you.
Below is a summary of the steps required:
- It is assumed you have installed the NLS program, if not, you should download and install it.
- Run the NLS program and from the NLS Manager dialog, select the Security Devices button.
- From the Security Devices dialog, clip the Copy to clipboard button. You can also access this information from the About dialog. This takes information on this dialog and posts it to the clipboard. This information is important as it uses the MAC address used by Pulsonix. Do not use the MAC address from ipconfig, it may not be the one Pulsonix is uses (it often is though).
- In an Email reply to your local sales office, use Paste (ctrl-V) to paste in the clipboard information. Send this and await a reply, the reply will contain your new license.
- From the email reply, save the license.lic file to somewhere accessible on your server drive, i.e. not in the Programs folder.
- From the NLS Manager dialog, click the License File button.
- On the License File page, click the Browse button to select the license file you just saved.
- On the License File page, click the Reload button to reload the new license information. Use the Preview button to view License Details.
- On the main NLS Manager dialog, you should now use the Start button to start the NLS program.
- On your remote Pulsonix client (the end user using Pulsonix), run the License Manager program and select the Network Licensing radio button. You’ll need to supply the Port and Server name to connect to this server.
- Once successfully connected, Pulsonix will now run.
