The Associated Parts properties tab is available when using the properties option on a component that has Associated parts. It gives a summary of the parts associated with the part, which the selected component uses. It is for information only and cannot be edited.

Using The Associated Parts Properties Dialog
Select a component and enter properties. If the component has associated parts, the Associated Parts tab will be available.
Parts are associated in the Part Editor.
Use the Edit… button to view the description and attributes on the selected associated part.
