This option provides easy access to all Grid options via a single shortcut menu.
Simply press the assigned shortcut key, by default Shift+G, and select the Grid function you wish to use from the Shortcut Menu.
You can also use the Next Grid and Previous Grid commands to change the current grid to the next or previous grid that would be shown in the Change Grid Step dialog . These commands are not on the context menus as they are designed to be placed on shortcut keys.
The commands Next User Grid and Previous User Grid are similar but only change to grids you have added, ignoring all the in-built grids.

The Change Grid Menu
The first three ‘Use’ options only appear if you are currently within an interactive operation. They allow you to choose which grid to move the dynamic items on.
Use No Grid - the cursor position is not gridded so the items move ‘freely’.
Use Working Grid - the cursor position is moved onto the Working Grid step values.
Use Track Grid - this is only shown if the item you are editing is associated with a special grid. i.e. Tracks, Vias, Components and Testpoints. The cursor position is moved onto the appropriate item grid.
Display Grids - use to toggle all visible grids on or off.
Grid Step - use Grid Step to quickly change the step size of any grid. By default it is set to the Working Grid.
Grids - use this to enter the main Grids dialog. From here you can set up your own grids or change the advanced grid features (e.g. grid origin).
