Creating Junction Points
Junctions are added when two Schematic connections are going from the same source pins but branch off to different pins. A Junction point is added at the branch point. It uses the default Pad Style for Junction Points to display the Junction Point.
Using the Junction Point Properties Dialog
If you do not want the Junction Point to be displayed in the default style for Junctions you can use this properties dialog to change it to a another predefined Pad Style by selecting one from the Name drop down list.
You can alternatively change it to a new Pad Style by defining alternative parameters. This can be done by changing the Width and or Length, or by changing the Shape drop down list. If there is no Pad Style to match these parameters then a new Pad Style will be added with the name that you want to call it.
The position of the Junction Point can be changed by typing different coordinates into the Position edit controls.
The Junction Point can be locked or unlocked against repositioning by checking or unchecking Locked .
