Using the Nets Colours Tab
This tab is used to allow nets to be displayed in their own colour and to control the display of connections on a given net, independent of the global connections display option.
If you check the Use Own Colour option alongside a net name, all items on this net will be drawn in the colour shown in the Colour column. This is useful for highlighting specific nets, such as power nets. This option is in addition to the Mark Net command.
The Display Connection option forces the connections for the given net on, even when the global option for connections is off. This is useful when routing critical nets.
When in Select Mode, use the Toggle Display Connection to set the Display Connection flag on just the currently selected nets.
Note: the Context Menu on this dialog allows you to apply the current value to all nets using the same Net Class, as well as the usual Apply to entire Column. In a schematic, you can also apply the current value to all other local or global nets. If the Net Name itself is selected, all the values for that row can be copied to all nets which use the same Net Class.
The priority order for use of the own colour for a connection is differential pair, signal path, sub net and net.
For individual nets, these options can also be set through the Properties dialog.
