Pulsonix can link to the Cadence Specctra autorouter but will require a special license feature available from your local sales office. This link will enable you to access and run an existing Specctra installation on your PC.

The Specctra interface is a licensed cost option that is available from your local sales office. The license provides you with a selection of mechanisms to link to the autorouter with various levels of control depending how you ran your router previously or your experience with using the router.

What Versions Of Specctra Are Supported?

Pulsonix supports the Specctra router versions 6.5 to 9.0. Other earlier versions may work but have not been tested by us and are therefore unsupported. If unsure, please contact our technical support centre for confirmation.

What Do You Need From Us?

Before running any of the supported third party autorouters you must request a license from your local Pulsonix sales office.

How To Install The License

Like any Pulsonix feature, to add or change product Licenses, use the License Manager application. A shortcut to this application can be found in the same place as the other Pulsonix programs on the Start menu.

You will also be requested to provide the location of the Specctra router executable program (.exe). This will enable Pulsonix to load this router program when you request it from the Specctra link interface.

Pulsonix provides you with the ability to run Specctra in various modes:

Each of these modes will provide different levels of interaction and control for you to select.
