Use the interface provided to write RIF files and load the saved routing data from either the Zuken Route Editor or Autorouter.
Note. This is not a standard license feature and should be requested from your local sales office. It is a cost option.
Supported Versions
Most Route Editor versions for Windows are supported. Both Route Editor 2000 and 5000 are supported but not all features in the 5000 version are supported in Pulsonix. Route Editor can be run using a dialog driven interface to the routing engine direct, and a link to the Route Editor program.
Using the interface
This option is used to generate a router interface file (.rif) from a Pulsonix design and invoke Route Editor with the current design loaded.
Use Browse if you want to change the name or location of the saved Route Editor design file.
You can then interactively use the Route Editor for routing the design. Once completed, you must use Save or Save As in the Route Editor to save the design as a .rif format file.
Use the Load Router Results option from the Link To Route Editor menu to load the routing results back into the design.
