These commands are used to report the Pad and Pad Type of Documentation Symbols.
Entities of the Pad can be selected for use from the Edit Value dialog.
Type will report the type of documentation symbol on which the pad resides.
Type is also used to report the type of a test point within the List of Testpoints command. The reported value will be one of “part”, “doc symbol”, “star point”, “pad”, “mounting hole”, “via”, “component pad”, “component mounting hole” or “component via”.
Use of the Dialog
These commands use the standard Edit Value command dialog.
From within this dialog you can make choices of the pad, for example Pad Position X Coord. You may need to use a few commands together to extract the exact information required for the pad.
