Using the Signal Paths Colours Tab

This tab is used to allow signal paths to be displayed in their own colour and to control the display of connections on a given signal path, independent of the global connections display option.

If you check the Use Own Colour option alongside a signal path name, all items on this signal path will be drawn in the colour shown in the Colour column. This is useful for highlighting specific signal paths prior to working on them.

The Display Connection option forces the connections for the given signal path on, even when the global option for connections is off. This is useful when routing critical signal paths.

Note: the Context Menu on this dialog allows you to apply the current value to all signal paths using Apply to entire Column.

The priority order for use of the own colour for a connection is differential pair, signal path, sub net and net.

For individual signal paths, these options can also be set through the Properties dialog.
