This command is used to force the report to be a PDF formatted file. When added as a command to the top of the script, the report file is then automatically saved to disk with the file extension .pdf
If you have a file association in your Windows Explorer for Adobe Acrobat for example, Acrobat will automatically be run up on execution of the report using the Test button or when running from within the Report mechanism.
Double clicking on the command will open the Edit PDF Command dialog. From here you are able to define:
Text Control
- Font - The font that you want the report to be written in
- Font Size - The font size that you want the report to be written in
- Alignment - The overall alignment of the text in the report
Page Setup
- Page Size - The size of the report page(s) using ISO defined page sizes
- Custom - When checked, custom page sizes can be defined
- Width - Custom page width
- Height - Custom page height
The units of the custom page sizes:
- Points
- Pixels
- Centimetres (cm)
- Inches (in)
