This option will report part pins that have not yet been mapped to a gate or that have been mapped to a gate more than once (within the default Part Representation).
When to use this option
It can be useful when creating a part such as an FPGA that has a large pin count making it difficult to spot errors in the pin mappings.
Locating this option
Available from: Library Manager option > Parts tab > Tools menu > Check Pin Mappings option
How to use the Check Pin Mappings option
On selection, a Part Pin Mapping Report will be displayed showing the number of part pins have not been mapped to a gate and the number of part pins that have been mapped to a gate more than once. The relevant Pin Names are listed in each case.
A part pin that is mapped to a single gate pin will not be reported.
