Using User Reports
A User Report is a special documentation symbol which is dynamically generated from a Report Maker report.
Use Insert User Report to add a User Report symbol.
Using the User Report Properties Dialog
The Report Name is shown, but cannot be updated here. If you wish to change it then Delete and Add another User Report.
The coordinates of the user report can be changed using the Position edit controls.
Angle shows the rotation of the user report and can be used to change it.
Check or uncheck Mirrored to mirror the user report (use the Layer field to change the layer).
Layer is the layer the user report will appear on (PCB only).
Check the Update report before plotting design to force the symbol to update before running any plot. This ensures it is up-to-date, however, if the report is slow to generate this will obviously slow the plotting process, so uncheck this option if the report is always likely to be correct. You can manually update the symbol at any time.
The Include Outline option will put a box around the report text.
To change the line style used in the user report for the outline, use the Line Style property page.
To change the text style used in the user report, use the Text Style property page.
