How To Use Simulator Setup
Select the Simulator Setup option from Simulator sub-menu on the Simulation menu.
The following dialog will be displayed:
Part Names for Simulator Built-in Models
The Pulsonix-Spice simulator contains SPICE models that use a .Model definition to define them. The simulator uses a built-in table to find the required part according to what type of model it is. Use this table here to provide your Pulsonix part names for these standard model types.
Update Simulator Parts List
Use this button to inform the simulator about Pulsonix Part names. This should be used every time you add new parts to the Pulsonix libraries that have Spice model information.
Associate Models to Parts
After informing the simulator of new parts, use this button to display the following Simulator dialog to associate model names to Pulsonix parts. If the simulator is not running, it will be started when you press this button.
This dialog allows you to divide your models into your own categories and enables you to associate a Pulsonix part to your model, thus enabling use of the Insert Part Using Model option in Pulsonix for your models.
