Design Settings - Defaults - Construction Line

This tab allows you to set the default Layer used when inserting Construction Lines to your PCB design.

Locating this option

Available from:

Setup menu > Design Settings option > Defaults > Construction Line page

Setup menu > Technology option > Design Settings > Defaults > Construction Line page

Using the Construction Line Defaults Tab

Layer

Select a Layer to add the Construction Lines to. Select from a drop down list defined in the Technology Layers dialog. This can be any non-electrical layer in the design.
