The Profile File is used in the Panel Design editor as a starting point for new Panel Designs.
Generally, the Profile File will contain the panel outline, build/manufacturing information, text, drawing blanks, fiducial markers and tooling holes. A full list of the contents allowed in the Profile File is shown below.

- Panel V-Score Lines
- Origins
- Dimensions
- Documentation Symbols (for Fiducial Markers)
- Areas
- Copper
- Documentation Shapes
- Mounting Holes (for Tooling Holes)

- Text Callouts
- Bitmaps
- Attributes
Using Technology Files and Profile Files together:
Any styles which contain technology information which appear in the technology will be matched where it has the same name or the same value. If the Profile has a technology style or value which does not exist, it will add the new style.
