Use this page to set up the which types of items to protect in Specctra.
This specifies the items that you want to protect the router from ripping-up and rerouting. You can protect specific types of tracks and vias, as well as testpoints.
Protecting Vias
Check All in the Vias section to protect all vias.
Alternatively if you want to protect a specific type of via check Specific and then check the type of via that you want to protect. Breakout protects stub vias from SMD pads. Testpoint protects testpoint vias.
Protecting Tracks
Check All in the Tracks section to protect all tracks.
Alternatively if you want to protect a specific type of track check Specific and then check the type of track that you want to protect. Breakout protects tracks from SMD pads to stub vias. Memory protects memory or bus tracks.
Protecting Testpoints
Check Testpoints to protect all testpoints.
