This command is used to report a range of component names when using the List Of Parts, List Of Component Groups and List of Associated Parts commands. It reports the names of all the components that use the Part or Component Group in range format as defined in the design’s Design Settings - Naming dialog, or you can define your own range format using the Name Range Format command (see below).
When used within a List of Associated Parts command, it reports a range of components, built from the Component Name Stem and the Quantity for the Associated Part.

Name Range Format
This command can be used to change the format for reporting name ranges. It uses the following dialog when edited:
Select Define Range Format and type in the characters you want in the range format. The range start and end characters may be left blank.
Use Use Design Range Format to set the format back to the design format if required. This is the default, so you do not need to add a Name Range Format command if you wish to just use the format defined in the design you are reporting.
