The Check Spacing Values dialog is used to show you the actual spacing used between items on two specified Nets.
A detailed description of how spacings are determined is given here.

Using the dialog
To display this dialog, select Technology from the Setup menu, (or use the shortcut key or toolbar icon), then select the Check Spacing Valuestab in the Spacing Rules section.
The values are presented in a grid for information only.
This level presents a read only grid which will show you the actual spacing used between items on the two specified Nets. This resolves all the rules specified in the three rule levels. You can optionally provide a layer side or layer name, to get these specific spacings. This level is for information only.
On Layers
Use the On Layers dropdown to select an explicit layer to view the rules defined for it.
Within Areas
Use the Within Area dropdown to select an explicit layer to view the rules defined for it.
Units
The Units button allows you to locally switch between Metric and Imperial units whilst in this dialog. Once the dialog is closed, the units revert back to the original design units. If switching to different units to the design units, the value typed will be converted when you next enter this page.
