Locating this option
You can invoke this import using the Import button on the Layers page in the Technology dialog, or using Import Design Data on the File menu.
Description
On invoking Import a standard file open dialog will be presented, allowing you to choose “IPC-2581 Layer Stackup” files which have a .XML file extension.
Before applying the layer stackup you will have the option of mapping the layers in the stackup file with those in the design using the Layer Mapping dialog.
After the stackup file has been loaded and the layers applied to your Technology, a report will be presented with information about what has been added or changed.
