These commands are used to report information from a Back Drill span in the design, for example, Name, Start Layer, Stop Layer etc. They are used when using the List Of Back Drill Spans command on a PCB design.

Using the dialog

These commands use the standard Edit Value command dialog. The dialog will allow you to make selections using the Value: field for the commands required.

Back Drill Span Name

The name of the current Back Drill span.

Bottom Back Drill Span Name

The name of the bottom Back Drill span used for the Back Drilled item.

Is Back Drilled

This reports “true” if the item has a top or bottom Back Drill span.

Is Used

This reports “true” if the current Back Drill span is used by an item in the design.

Must Cut Layer

The last electrical layer which should be reached by the Back Drilling hole.

Must Not Cut Layer

The first layer with a connection to the Back Drilled item, which should not be reached by the Back Drilling hole.

Start Layer

The name of the outer layer of the current Back Drill span.

Start Layer Number

Reports the layer order of the start layer of the current Back Drill span.

Stop Layer

The name of the inner layer of the current Back Drill span.

Stop Layer Number

Reports the layer order of the stop layer of the current Back Drill span.

Top Back Drill Span Name

The name of the top Back Drill span used for the Back Drilled item.

Type

Reports a description of the type of the current span.
