Report Maker - Component Name Stem Command

When used on a part this command is used to report the component name stem defined in the part. When used on a component it reports the stem part of the component name.

Use of the Dialog

These commands use the standard Edit Value command dialog.

Example use of Component Name Stem

Set Variable "count" to 1
List Of Associated Parts
	if Variable "count" is equal to 1		
		Part Name
	else
		Text "      "
	Component Name Stem
	Variable "count"
	Increment Variable "count" by 1
	End Of Line

The report output looks like this:

Bolt	B1
	B2
	B3
Bracket	BR1
	BR2

Component Name Stem From Part

Used on a component, this command reports the original name stem from the components part.
