Use this to change the SPICE model or sub-circuit used by the selected components.

Use this to view the component SPICE model or sub-circuit details from the simulator model files.

How To Select A Model

Select the model based Component(s) that you wish to change. If multiple components are selected they must all be the same Spice type e.g. diode, subcircuit, etc.

Press F7 or use the Edit Spice Value/Model option from the Simulation menu, or from the shortcut menu.

The following dialog will be displayed:

The list will contain all models from the Simulator model libraries that have been associated with the same Pulsonix Generic Part as the selected component, (Opamp in this example).

Select the required model, or subcircuit, from the list. If a specific part in the library is found with its set to the selected model it will be used, otherwise the generic part associated with the model will be used and its set to the correct model name.

Parameters

Click on the Parameters button (if present) to change the model or subcircuit parameters on the selected part using the Edit Parameter dialog.

Display In Design

Check the appropriate boxes to display the model name or parameter list next to the component in the design.

Preview Model

Check this box to extend the dialog to show details of the selected model or subcircuit, extracted from the simulator model files. Note that the simulator must be running in order for this feature to work. If the simulator is not running it will be started when required to get model information.
