The whole of the Selected Net will be drawn in the Marked Net colour. The net will remain marked until another net is marked or the marking removed. Unlike highlighting, the marked status of a net is saved with the design.

Default Key: H
Default Menu: Edit
Command: Mark Net
How To Use Mark Selected Net
Select an item on a net using Select Mode or Edit Mode, right click, then use the Nets> option and Mark Net option. Alternatively, select the net then select the H shortcut key.
You can also use the option in a Latch mode. That is, you select the Mark Selected Net option first, then select an item on a net. The net will be drawn in the Marked Net colour. You can also use the Auto-Select tool within this mode, which allows you to mark a net as you move over it with the cursor. You can then continue to select other items if you wish.
Right click whilst in this mode brings up the context menu where you can toggle the Dim Design To Highlight Marked Net option to enable or disable the dimming of the background so that the highlighted net will be more clearly visible. The Mark Net Shows Invisible Items option may also be enabled or disabled. Marked invisible net items will remain visible as long as the net remains marked. Marked tracks on non visible layers are shown using a patterned format so they are distinguishable from tracks on visible layers.
If you select a closed bus or a star point (in a pcb design), you will be prompted to select which net to Mark.
How To Use Remove Net Mark
Select the Mark Net - Remove option from the Edit menu and any marked nets will be restored back to their original colour. Also any design items made visible solely because the net is marked will once again become invisible.
Alternatively, select the Marked Net and press the shortcut key again (H) which will toggle the Marked Net off.
Using Mark Net with the Find Bar
When the Find Bar is open and the selection is on Components, when a Net in the design is marked (using Mark Net), the Components connected to the net will be highlighted in the Find bar. Once the net has been marked, click in free space to signal the Find bar to update the list.
In order for this feature to operate successfully, you must also have the following options set using the context menu in the Find bar - Highlight Found Item and Highlight Items from Design Selection.
