How To Define A Sine Source
Use the Define Source dialog to edit a source device. Click on the Sine tab.
The following dialog will be displayed:
The shape of the waveform is described by:
0 to delay:offset
Delay to stop time:offset + peak.exp(-(t-delay).theta)).sin(2.p.freq.(t+delay))
Notes:
Phase is implemented using a negative delay. If a positive delay is specified, the phase control will blank out.
Frequency is defined in Hz. If set to zero, the frequency will be set to 1 / (stop_time squared). Where stop_time refers to the end time of the Transient Analysis.
Delay is defined in seconds.
Theta is the damping factor parameter which controls decay, defined in tenths of a second.
