A Hyperlink is an attribute which contains the name of an external document or program, the document could
reside on your network or on the internet. The name can be relative to the current document. You can designate
any attribute as a hyperlink
using the Technology dialog and Attributes page, or use the in-built
Use Insert Attribute from the Insert menu in the usual way to place an attribute position. The value of the attribute will be underlined to show that it is a hyperlink. Double clicking on the attribute position will execute the hyperlink. Alternatively, you can add a hyperlink attribute to a design item (such as a component). you can then execute the hyperlink using the Execute Hyperlink command when the item is selected. If the item has more than one hyperlink attribute defined, then you will be presented with a list to select from.
You can also use the Execute Hyperlink command on any piece of text in the design. The program will attempt to execute the text as a hyperlink.
Hyperlink attributes are also active in the Part Editor. The Execute Hyperlink command is available on the context menu for any attribute defined as a hyperlink.
