Whilst Editing tracks in the PCB Design editor, the Disconnect Track End option is available on the context menu. This is used to disconnect the end of the track from a design item such as a pad or via, thus enabling you to connect it to another entity. The shape of the tracks remain unchanged. This is useful if you wish to remove a component from the routing pattern for some reason.

How To Use ‘Disconnect Track End’ whilst Editing Tracks
During Edit Track, you can right click and use the Disconnect Track End option on the context menu.
The end of the track will become disconnected from the Pad, Via or Junction point (on a T junction) to which it is currently connected. You can then continue editing the track, connecting it to another item as required.
The end to be disconnected is determined by the direction in which the track is being edited, you can reverse this direction by selecting this option from the context menu.
