Copy takes any selected items and copies them into the Windows clipboard ready for reuse using the Paste function.

Using the Copy Command
Design items copied into the clipboard are stored in ‘private’ ( proprietary) format which can only be used within the Pulsonix design applications.
Tip: If a copy of a design item is required for use straight away, use the Duplicate function to make the copy, this saves using the Copy and Paste functions.
Whenever Copy (or (Cut) is used, the selection is also made available on the clipboard as an image. This can then be pasted into any program which accepts either Windows Bitmap or Windows Metafile format, e.g. Microsoft Word or Paint etc.
The selection image will include all selected items in their entirety, regardless of whether or not they are currently fully visible on screen and they will be drawn in their normal colour not the selection colour.
Note that if a single component, with no other items, was copied, then no connectivity is copied. This is significant if the component is subsequently pasted into a design.
