The Merge Shapes command will combine merge selected overlapping shapes into non overlapping shapes.

How to use Merge Shapes

Select a number of overlapping closed shapes with the same properties (the shapes must be of the same type, on the same layer and net). Select the Merge Shapes option from the context menu. The selected shapes will be merged where they overlap.

Shapes must be the same Open or Closed status, but can be different filled status. When different, the unfilled shape will become filled on merge.

If you want to add to an existing shape, you may want to consider using the Insert Merge command.
