When the Run Macro command is executed, with the Relative Replay option enabled, if the mouse cursor is outside the design window, such as when selecting the Run Macro option from the menu or toolbar, before continuing to run the macro you will be required to define the relative start point for the macro by clicking the mouse at the desired position. This is indicated (if modal cursors are enabled) by the mouse cursor changing to the one shown below:
If Relative Replay is not enabled, the relative start position does not need to be set and the macro will run immediately.

Run Macro via a Shortcut Key
If the Run Macro command is executed via a shortcut key and the mouse cursor is positioned within the design window, the relative replay start position is taken to be the mouse position at the point the shortcut key is pressed. The need for the additional action of clicking the mouse to define the start position is bypassed and the macro will start to run immediately.
