Insert Panel Outline

Use Insert Panel Outline to interactively create the outline shape for a panel design.

This mode allows you to add the outline shape using one of two shape styles provided: Rectangle and Polygon. The panel outline is created using an unfilled shape which is closed (non-intersecting and ending at the start point). This shape can be edited after being added to move, add and remove corners.

Command: Insert Panel Outline Polygon

Command: Insert Panel Outline Rectangle

How To Insert Shape

  1. On the Insert menu, select Insert Panel Outline the select: Polygon or Rectangle as required.
  2. Select one of the Icons from the toolbar. If the appropriate Icon is not on the toolbar, you can add it, if you wish.
  3. The required shape may then be created in the design. See Insert Polygon or Insert Rectangle for details on adding the shape segments.
